So far, Brazil is the biggest coffee production country, accounting for 30% of all the coffee output in the world, while Columbia ranks second with 12% of market share.

The spread of coffee into China

According to the historical record, coffee was first grown in Taiwanin 1884, which turned over a new leaf to the development of coffee industry in China. The earliest coffee planting in China’s mainland was in Yunan. At the beginning of the 20th century, a French missionary brought the some coffee seedlings to Binchuan County in Yunan province.
